Jyll Stuart is the Founder and CEO of Veracity Technologies LLC, headquartered in the New Albany-based Purdue Research Park of Southeast Indiana. In 1997, she realized how much small business owners and not-for-profit groups could benefit from web technologies that larger companies were starting to leverage and began a small consulting business at that time. In 2010, she had the opportunity to devote her full efforts to Veracity Technologies and grow the company’s services portfolio to better serve her clients.
Veracity Technologies is focused on embedded hardware and software solutions, customized web applications, and custom software solutions. The company has developed a customized mobile inventory solution for a durable medical goods business that manages several hospital inventories in the Louisville Metro area. Veracity Technologies developed and maintains custom web applications for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Chrones and Colitis Foundation. The company is also prototyping a solar thermal management system using the Arduino platform which will enable economical production and monitoring of hot water generation. Ms. Stuart specializes in web application architecture, information architecture, business process analysis, and leveraging open source technologies. She has extensive experience in interacting with local, state, and federal agencies at a variety of levels.
Ms. Stuart holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Indiana State University in Terre Haute. She is a member of One Southern Indiana and serves on the Board of Directors of Hope Southern Indiana. Ms. Stuart served four terms on the Board of Directors for Infragard, a public-private partnership between the FBI and members of the private sector who are focused on intrusions and vulnerabilities affecting 18 critical infrastructures, including cyber networks. She is also an advisory member to start-up companies in the area. Ms. Stuart is a native of Indiana and resides in Henryville with her husband.
